Hi BarBackers! Here's another Original Recipe we would like to share: 

The Original "MAPLE-LEMON-BERRY COCKTAIL"

This recipe is shaken and strained over fresh ice, and stirred gingerly to complete. This is the latest addition to our delicious and refreshing summer cocktail list to make at home or for the poolside in a plastic Solo cup.

(These are the portions required for one drink. Simply multiply for extra servings. Have Fun!

                                 THE ORIGINAL MAPLE-LEMON-BERRY COCKTAIL

  1. YOU WILL NEED: A *BARBACK TOOL, ONE PINT MIXING GLASS, ONE LARGE SHAKER TIN, A HAWTHORNE DRINK STRAINER, A FINE SCREEN SMALL STRAINER, A MUDDLER, ONE 12 OZ ROCKS GLASS, KNOB CREEK MAPLE BOURBON,  CINNAMON & BROWN SUGAR SIMPLE SYRUP, ONE FRESH LEMON, 5 FRESH BLACKBERRIES, AND A MINT SPRIG.
  2. *USE YOUR BARBACK KNIFE TO SLICE 2 LEMON WEDGES, AND SPEAR IT TOGETHER WITH A FRESH BLACKBERRY. PUT GARNISHES ASIDE FOR NOW.
  3. IN YOUR PINT GLASS, ADD 2 OUNCES OF KNOB CREEK BOURBON, A SQUEEZE OF ONE LEMON SLICE, 1/3 OUNCE OF CINNAMON & BROWN SUGAR SIMPLE SYRUP, AND 4 FRESH BLACK BERRIES THEN MUDDLE ALL TOGETHER.  
  4. FILL THE PINT GLASS WITH ICE, CAP WITH SHAKER TIN AND SHAKE VIGOROUSLY FOR 30 SECONDS.
  5. FILL ROCKS GLASS WITH ICE, AND "DOUBLE STRAIN" THE CONTENTS OF THE PINT GLASS OVER THE FRESH ICE. "DOUBLE STRAINING" SIMPLY MEANS STRAINING WITH THE CONTENTS OF THE SHAKER THROUGH A "WIRE" HAWTHORNE INTO A FINE SCREEN STRAINER HELD OVER THE ROCKS GLASS. THIS PROCESS WILL ONLY ALLOW THE CHILLED LIQUID INTO THE GLASS AND PREVENTS THE ICE AND BLACKBERRY SEEDS FROM ENTERING THE GLASS.
  6. *USE THE BARBACK KNIFE IN THE 90 DEGREE LOCKED POSITION TO GENTLY STIR THE DRINK AND TO SETTLE THE ICE.
  7. DECORATIVELY PLACE YOUR GARNISHES ON TOP OF THE COCKTAIL.
  8. SIP AND ENJOY YOUR FRESH COCKTAIL!
